The Wyoming Chancery Court is officially open and ready to accept eFiling via the mandated electronic filing system, File & ServeXpress.
The Wyoming Chancery Court aims to provide a forum for streamlined resolution of commercial, business, and trust cases. The new court is intended to resolve cases on an expedited schedule, assisted by File & ServeXpress’s easy-to-use interface and efficient, time-saving functionality.
The Wyoming Supreme Court adopted final rules for the Chancery Court in late September, mandating that all filers in the Chancery Court pass an eFiling proficiency test with File & ServeXpress before they can file in the court. Users can prepare to file in the Wyoming Chancery Court by attending a training session with File & ServeXpress representatives, registering their account, and completing an online proficiency test.
Sara Collins, VP of Product Management at File & ServeXpress, says of the development:
“We are so excited to be an integral part of this new court system. Our goal at FSX has always been to simplify the litigation process and help legal professionals work more efficiently, and we are confident that our role in the Wyoming Chancery Court will do just that.”
