COVID-19 COURT UPDATES

CALIFORNIA

The Judicial Council continues to closely monitor the evolving COVID-19 coronavirus situation. Courts have been advised to follow guidance provided by the Department of Public Health, and the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to limit the spread of the virus. Updates will be communicated through local court websites as appropriate.

DELAWARE

The spread of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a significant public health concern that has the potential to affect the daily operation of the Delaware Court system. The Delaware Judiciary, in conjunction with our partners at the Delaware Emergency Management Agency (DEMA) and the Department of Public Health (DPH), is closely monitoring the situation and evaluating our ongoing response to this developing situation. Please find below the latest statements and advisories from the Delaware Judiciary regarding COVID-19.

GEORGIA – FULTON COUNTY

Over the last two weeks, Fulton County has been in daily communication with the Fulton County Board of Health, the Georgia Department of Public Health, the CDC, the Governor’s office, our school systems and 15 cities in responding to COVID-19 and its impact on our communities.

ILLINOIS

The Illinois Judicial Branch continues to monitor the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. It is important to have reliable information when dealing with a public health emergency. The Illinois Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control are two verified sources for information on COVID-19. Court users and employees are reminded to take the same precautions that would be used during any flu season (wash your hands thoroughly, cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, and stay home if you are feeling sick). Please refer back to this page as it will be updated with new information as it becomes available.

TEXAS

The Supreme Court of Texas and Court of Criminal Appeals, working with the Office of Court Administration are committed to ensure that justice continues to be served to all Texans in the current pandemic situation.

WASHINGTON, D.C.

In response to COVID-19 all clerk’s offices for Superior Court are operating in a remote status with no staff on-site. We have employees available to answer questions via telephone, email and Live Chat. Due to the limited resources for processing mail, please call or email a request, document or image of a document to avoid a delay in processing your request. Below is information regarding operations that will be conducted remotely by the Clerk’s Offices. All emergency hearings will be conducted by the judge remotely.

WEST VIRGINIA
